DAAD ALUMNI-MEETING Hanoi 2013
The DAAD Regional Office Hanoi celebrated its tenth anniversary from 10 - 12 May 2013. We look back on an eventful weekend and want to thank you for your numerous and engaged participation.

Greetings from DAAD Hanoi
This year is a happy year for DAAD Hanoi since we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of our branch office here in Vietnam. We take this as an opportunity to organise a jubilee alumni meeting conference from 10th - 12th May 2013 in Hanoi.
In order to be able to invite you we are presently updating our records since some of the details are already outdated. On this occasion we would also like to know how beneficial your stay in Germany was for your career. The results of this tracer study will be presented during the alumni conference. We hope to see many of you there. An invitation will follow.

Tasks and activities of DAAD-Regional Office Hanoi
DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi also represents DAAD in Laos and Cambodia
- we offer consultation on study and research opportunities in Germany;
- we assist graduate students in identifying appropriate Universities and Research Institutes in Germany for their doctoral research;
- we inform on scholarship and grant opportunities for Master-students, doctoral candidates, scientists, former grantees and administrators in the field of Higher Education;
- we co-operate with the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training - particularly with regard to the scholarship program ‘project 322’;
- we organise Higher Education Fairs and information events at Vietnamese Universities;
- we coordinate and financially assist German Master-programs at Vietnamese Universities;
- we support scientific workshops and seminars organised by our former grantees (alumni).
